Hi, I'm Dr Shelley Wilkinson — Advanced Accredited Practising Dietitian and PhD (Health Psychology).
I've been a dietitian for 30 years, and I have a PhD in Health Psychology — which means my expertise goes well beyond food lists and portion sizes. I understand the behaviour behind eating: why change is hard, what actually motivates people to sustain healthy habits, and how to make nutrition work in real life.
I've spent decades working with women at some of the most important and vulnerable times in their lives - trying to conceive, growing a baby, adjusting to new motherhood, and navigating perimenopause. I eat pretty well already. Will I still get value from this?
Pregnancy nutrition is different to everyday nutrition. Even women with great baseline habits find they need to adjust significantly - and many are surprised by what they were missing. If you're already health-conscious, you'll move through the foundations quickly and get most value from the trimester-specific guidance and tracking tools.
What if I have a specific condition like gestational diabetes or food allergies?
